Hello,

My name is James "JP" Heckart and I founded ATHNETIK with the vision of providing premier physical therapy, fitness, and sport instruction to DFW. My entire life has been defined by athletics and I want to help the next generation of athletes and gym-goers reach their full God-given potential and achieve their dreams. I achieved my bachelors degree in biology from Midland University in 2018 while playing baseball all 4 years as a middle infielder and pitcher. I then went on to graduate with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021 from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. I have also achieved certifications as an ACE Personal Trainer, NSCA Strength & Conditioning Coach, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, and Certified Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Therapist (COMT) through NAIOMT. I am looking forward to working with you for all your sport, fitness and physical therapy needs!
